Is China a Threat?

 The Sino-American relationship has been volatile over the last past decades, however how could it really be defined? Considering each country’s economical ideologies and interests we could arrive to a conclusion that there is a lot of disagreement between the two. With the increase of American involvement all around the world and at the same time the increase of China’s military power and economy under communist rule, it is almost natural that tensions between the two countries will become rough. There have been boycotts of China’s Olympic Games here in the United States due to the reactions Americans have about communism in China, this is one of the many examples of how fragile the interaction between the two countries can be. What Americans don’t realize is that the majority of Chinese people are content with their government and one of the reasons of their economic improvement has been accomplished under a communist economic structure, Americans may argue about the political prisoners of China and their social inequalities, but what country does not have this problems? America? NO. Let’s just look at the prisons in Iraq and the abuses from American soldiers to the prisoners, also at the discrimination from Americans to immigrants and Middle East people. In order to keep peace in this world each country has to stay out of other county’s affairs. America?
